Tiffany Rochel is a well-known modeling, acting, and etiquette expert. After spending ten years with the International Presentation of Performers, she is now the new President of The Industry Network. Ms. Rochel oversees the daily operations for IN, everything from pre-registration for auditions, staging, meeting hall requirements, guest room amenities, audition schedules and she even heads up computer operations.
Ms. Rochel helped create and develop The Industry Network with new and exciting concepts that have made IN a must stop on the convention circuit. Ms. Rochel's innovations, attention to detail and her ability to make every parent, teen and child feel especially welcome at all past conventions has made her a true standout organizer from year to wondrous year. Her dedication to all facets in the acting, singing, dancing and modeling worlds have consistently drawn top talent, managers, agents and casting directors to her network. Ms. Rochel has personally helped discover models who were immediately signed by uber modeling agencies Wilhelmina, Elite, Click, Next and Ford Models. Those models have gone on to model for industry giants such as Bazaar Magazine, Chanel, Vogue Magazine, Vera Wang, Target, Calvin Klein and Seventeen Magazine. Ms. Rochel can take great pride in discovering iPOP! actors who have gone on to be placed in national commercials for Cingular, L'Oreal, McDonalds, Band-Aid and Microsoft Windows and on television shows such as Trophy Wife, Shake It Up, Once Upon A time, Good Luck Charlie, A.N.T. Farm, Jessie, CSI:Los Angeles, The Thundermans and Grey's Anatomy and in films including The Butler, Star Trek, This is 40, Pitch Perfect and Grown Ups 1 & 2.
Ms. Rochel comes from a background of modeling and talent development. As a teenager growing up in the Bay Area she attended a modeling and talent development school and then modeled for several years, earning enough money to attend San Jose State University. After graduating Ms. Rochel worked at a talent academy and eventually opened two talent academies of her own in Orange County, California. As her success grew Ms. Rochel began to consult for other talent academies, directing their growth and introducing etiquette and personal development programs. These programs proved to be invaluable in teaching communication skills and instilling a sense of self-confidence. For a teen, she says, "this is priceless".
She has helped launch the careers of many models, including those of Tameron Dunn, who has appeared in ads for Pac Sun and in Teen Style and Teen Prom magazines; and Matthew Yee, who has appeared in commercials for McDonald's, Microsoft and Amazon.com.
In addition to working with The Industry Network, Ms. Rochel has written successful advice columns where she has answered many questions from young people attempting to break into modeling and acting. Although she encourages people to follow their dreams, she also stresses the importance of keeping your hopes modest and your drive to succeed high! She says her motivation for the column was to increase her students' chances of being discovered and to inform those too shy to ask parents or friends about the modeling and acting industries. Ms. Rochel's advice has been featured in Business Digest and Pageantry magazines to name a few.
